1. General Instructions

"HOPE (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") is developed and operated by the Company. In order to support the protection of personal information and privacy, the Company has formulated this "HOPE Privacy Protection Policy" (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") for you to understand the types, purposes and methods of collection, processing and use of personal information by HOPE, as well as the rights and methods you may exercise in accordance with the law.

Please read this Policy carefully, when you log in to "HOPE" and register a member account, it is deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to accept all the contents of this Policy. This Policy is subject to change at any time, and "HOPE" will notify you of the changes to this Policy through a system announcement or email (if you have provided an email address to "HOPE".

The scope of application of this policy is limited to "HOPE". "HOPE" may contain links and information from other service providers or advertisers, and the privacy policies regarding such links and information, as well as the notices of such service providers or advertisers related to the protection of personal information, are not within the scope of this Policy, and should be referred to the links of each such website.


2. Types and Methods of Personal Data Collection

(1) Provision of information

If you quickly log in (register) or use the Service in the manner specified by "HOPE", you agree that the Company will obtain the relevant personal information provided by you to the Company, including account name, email address, phone number, etc.

(2) Information browsing and collection

When you use the Service, the Company may collect the following information:

The Platform may automatically collect technical information, including device or software information, through cookies or other means, such as configuration information provided by your mobile device, web browser or other programs you use to access our services, your IP address, time of use, and the version and device identifier of your mobile device.

  5. Information (metadata) contained in the content you share through the Service, such as the date, time, or location of the shared photo or video taken or uploaded.
  6. Location information, that is, the information that the Company collects about your location when you turn on the location function of your device and use the relevant services provided by the Company based on location, including:
  7. When you use the Service through a mobile device with location function, the Company collects your geographic location information through GPS, Wi-Fi, etc.
  8. You or other users provide instant information about your geographic location, such as account information that you provide that includes information about your region, or shared information uploaded by others that shows your current or former geographic location, such as geotagged information in photos shared by you or others. You can stop our collection of your geolocation information at any time by turning off the location function.

Shared information provided about you by other parties when they use the Service.


3.Reference: E-mail delivery settings

"HOPE" will send you commercial data or e-mail after you have registered and obtained your consent. In addition to indicating that the message or e-mail was sent by "HOPE", "HOPE" will also provide a method, instructions or functional link on the e-mail that you can stop receiving such information or e-mail at any time.


4. Purpose and period of collection and processing of personal information

(1) General purposes

The Company may use the information collected for the following general purposes, including:





  1. For marketing, promotion, identity verification, customer service, security prevention, fraud monitoring and credit deposits, including but not limited to explaining the applicable age level, classification attributes, description and operation methods of the rules of the Platform, and providing notifications of updates, promotions or other activities, etc., to ensure the safety and integrity of the products and services provided by the Company to you.
  2. Conduct internal statistical analysis as a basis for future research to improve services and meet market needs.
  3. To enable the Company to better understand how you access and use the Company's services, so as to respond to your personalized needs in a targeted manner, such as language settings, location settings, personalized instructions and instructions, etc.

(2) Third-party service or commodity providers

In order to provide the services or benefits you request, "HOPE" may need to share your personal information with third parties (whether in or outside Taiwan) who provide the services or benefits, and when you are required to provide your name, telephone number, residential address, and e-mail address, "HOPE" will provide you with a full explanation in the relevant activities and notify you before the information is collected or transmitted, and you can choose whether to accept this specific service or offer.

(3) Advertisers and Links

"HOPE" may provide the personal information you provide to "HOPE", including your name and e-mail address, to the vendors that advertise on "HOPE" or to websites linked to "HOPE" (whether in or outside Taiwan) for consumer, customer management and service; business and technical information; advertising and business conduct management; surveys, statistics and research analysis; Marketing; within the scope of trade promotion and management purposes. These advertisers or website operators have their own privacy protection policies, and their data processing practices do not apply to this policy, and "HOPE" is not legally responsible for the activities of advertisers or website operators.

Your personal data will be used for the duration of the purposes mentioned above and for the period necessary to carry out the relevant business.


5. Your Rights

(1) The Company will try its best to take appropriate technical means to provide you with other personal information in relation to your registration information or use of the Service to exercise the following rights (provided that the Company may refuse your request if it complies with the relevant personal data protection laws and regulations). We may require you to verify your identity in order to protect the security of your account.

• For inquiries or requests to read, the company may charge NT$100 per piece.

• For the request to make a copy, the company may charge NT$100 per piece.

• Request for additions or corrections.

• Request to stop the collection, processing or use.

• Request deletion.

(2) However, if you request to stop collecting, processing, using or deleting your personal information, it may result in the inability of "HOPE", third-party services or product providers to continue to provide services normally, in which case "HOPE" may stop providing services to you.

(3) If you would like to delete an account created through Facebook, please do so by going to your Facebook profile and clicking Settings & Privacy > Settings > app and website pages.





  1. Log in to your app via the "Facebook Login" feature.
  2. Go to the Apps and Websites settings tab in your Facebook profile:https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications
  3. Delete your app.
  4. Click the Deleted subpage tab, and then click your application.
  5. Click Transmit Requirements.

6. Account Deletion Notice

You may apply to the Company to delete your HOPE Account at any time, please read the "Notice for Deletion of HOPE Account" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice") before deleting. When you submit a deletion application, it means that you have fully read, understood and accepted all the contents of this notice, and you are deemed to have agreed that your HOPE account will be disposed of as follows:

(1) Deleting your HOPE account is a permanent and irreversible operation, even if you accidentally delete your account, the original account cannot be restored, please note that the original account cannot be restored.

(2) Before you delete it, please back up the relevant information in your HOPE account as necessary, and the company will not assist you in backing it up.

(3) Once your HOPE account is deleted, you will be deemed to have terminated all services provided by the Company. Your acknowledgment or clicking "Confirm Delete" constitutes your acceptance of all consequences, including but not limited to:





  1. The Company will delete your account and related usage records (including but not limited to all login methods of your HOPE account, other user accounts followed by your HOPE account, etc.), and your friends or HOPE users will not be able to contact you through your original HOPE account, and when the other party contacts you, it will display "the other party's account does not exist/deleted".
  2. The personal information and historical information of your HOPE account (including but not limited to nickname, profile picture, activity, homepage, message history, invitation code, etc.) will be deleted and cannot be restored (even if you use the same mobile phone number to register and use it again), and the identity verification information under the account will be removed and the relevant authentication identity will be cancelled.
  3. After deleting your account, your original HOPE account will not be able to log in, in order to ensure that your account will not be re-registered, the original deleted account will not be able to be registered again, please use another phone, E-mail or third-party service account to register a new account.
  4. After your HOPE account is deleted, your personal information will be deleted from the HOPE application system and will not be retrieved, accessed or anonymized.
  5. Before applying for deletion of your HOPE account, please make sure that the binding relationship of all payment accounts in your HOPE account has been terminated, and the company will not be responsible for any losses arising from your failure to cancel your payment account or other balances in your account that have not been withdrawn.
  6. All records, data and information of HOPE service functions (including but not limited to backpack props, backpack gifts, gift fragments, avatars, squares, diamond redemptions, diamond withdrawals, etc.) or other third-party services that you use, authorize, log in or bind through your HOPE account will be deleted and cannot be recovered. You will not be able to log in or use the aforesaid functions or services, and the qualifications, ranks, medals and other membership rights and benefits you have obtained shall be deemed to have been waived by you and you will not be able to continue to use them. You understand and agree that HOPE cannot assist you in restoring the aforesaid functions or services.
  7. Once the HOPE account is deleted, the unused diamonds in the account cannot be exchanged or returned. You can spend it before deleting your account; In addition, if you have a diamond balance, please be sure to withdraw it before deleting your account.
  8. After successfully deleting your account, the Company will not retain any of your transaction data or information unless otherwise required by law.

(4) When you propose to delete your HOPE account, if the Company finds that your HOPE account is involved in disputes, including but not limited to complaints, reports, fraud, defamation, lawsuits, arbitrations, investigations by relevant state authorities, etc., or if the account is at risk or concerned about being blocked or misappropriated, the Company has the right to suspend the deletion procedure of your account or at the request of the judicial unit without your consent.

(5) Once your account is deleted, the terms of rights and obligations between you and the Company will be terminated unless otherwise stipulated by law or agreed by both parties to continue to take effect.

(6) Your deletion of your HOPE account does not mean that your actions and related responsibilities before the deletion of your account are reduced or exempted.


7. "HOPE" is obligated to provide personal information

"HOPE" will not sell, exchange or rent your personal information to third parties without your written consent, but may still provide your personal information to government agencies or other third parties as required by laws and regulations, judgments, rulings, orders or other sanctions of government agencies and any legal obligations.

In addition, "HOPE" may provide your personal information to government agencies in accordance with the law when you violate any laws and regulations, "HOPE" Terms of Service, this Policy, infringe intellectual property rights, or endanger the rights or security of other users. The Company will not be liable for any damages or expenses incurred by you as a result.


8.How we process the personal information of minors

(1) If you are under the age of 18 or have not reached the age of majority under the laws of your country, you will not be able to register Mate.

(2) You understand and promise that the age information you provide to us is true, and if we analyze and calculate that you may be a minor through technical means, we have the right to take restrictive measures against your account, that is, restrict your account from browsing, using specific functions and consumption behaviors. The above restrictions are to protect the physical and mental health and safety of minors, and you irrevocably waive any claims against us. If you believe that you are not a minor, please perform real-name authentication. Once we have verified your identity, we will immediately revoke the restriction and restore your original use status.

(3) We attach great importance to the protection of minors' personal information. If you are a minor under the age of 18, you should obtain the consent of your guardian before using our products and services. We will protect the personal information of minors in accordance with the provisions of relevant national laws and regulations.

(4) We will not actively collect personal information from minors. For the collection of minors' personal information with the consent of their guardians, we will only use, share, transfer or disclose this information as permitted by law, with the consent of the guardians, or as necessary to protect minors.

(5) If it is proved that the minor has used our products and services without the consent of the guardian, we will negotiate with the relevant guardian and try to delete the relevant personal information as soon as possible.

(6) For minors under the age of 14, in addition to complying with the provisions of this Privacy Policy on users' personal information, we will also uphold the principles of legitimate necessity, informed consent, clear purpose, security guarantee, and lawful use, and strictly comply with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations for storage, use, and disclosure, and will not exceed the period necessary to achieve the purpose of collection and use, after which we will delete or anonymize children's personal information.

(7) If you are the parent or other guardian of a minor under the age of 14, we may need to collect the personal information of the child under your guardianship from you for the purpose of performing relevant services to you. If it is necessary to collect children's personal information from you in the course of specific services, we will obtain your authorization and consent in advance, and inform you of the purpose and use of the collection. If you do not provide the above information, you will not be able to enjoy the relevant services provided by us.


9.Other precautions

(1) Your voluntary provision of personal information to a third party other than "HOPE" is not within the scope of application of this Policy. If you voluntarily disclose all kinds of personal information to a third party other than "HOPE" online, such as announcing your email and birthday in the live broadcast room, profile page, etc., or providing personal information in interaction with other netizens, such forms of data provision may be collected and used by others, and are not within the scope of application of this Policy. The Company will not be liable for any damages or expenses incurred by you as a result.

(2) Self-protection measures for personal information Please keep your account password properly and do not provide the password to anyone.

(3) Age Restriction The Company encourages parents or guardians to guide minors under the age of 18 to use the Service. The Company advises minors to encourage their parents or guardians to read this Policy and advises minors to seek consent and guidance from their parents or guardians before submitting personal information.
